Step 1
Start out with basic shapes and line. Keep it light and simple.

Roughly sketch in the forms and features. No need for details.
Step 3
Smooth out the image with a paper towel and darken it a bit in preparation for shading and erasing.
Step 4
Start darkly adding in features. Work from top to bottom.
Step 5
Continue sketching in the features and outlines.
Step 6
Keep adding details by moving on to the stripes.
Step 7
Darken the area surrounding the tiger and its outline.
Step 8
Use an eraser to lighten up the shading on the tiger's fur.
