Step 1
Start out by visualizing the basic form of Buzz's body. Sketch in basic guidelines.
Step 2
Lightly sketch Buzz in. F and HB pencils work well for this.
Step 3
Start defining the lines. A B mechanical pencil was used for this step. Try to divide the body into sections. Work from top to bottom.
Step 4
Move down the back and chest. Erase away any unneeded guidelines.
Step 5
Define the arm lines. Thicken and redefine the outline of the entire figure.
Step 6
Carry the shading in section. A B pencil works for dark shading and a 3H for light shading.
Step 7
Progress down the back and chest with the shading.
Step 8
Finish up the drawing by shading in the arm and cleaning up the drawing.
