Step 1
Start out by sketching her basic skeleton. HB pencils work well for early sketching.
Step 2
Continue by sketching in her basic form.
Step 3
Add in some facial features and sketch in her hair and headdress.
Step 4
Start defining the lines from top to bottom. Pens or a 2B pencil or mechanical pencil can be used to get bold lines.
Step 5
Define her torso.
Step 6
Define her arms.
Step 7
Shade over the entire drawing. An HB pencil and a blending stump or cloth work well here.
Step 8
Smooth out the shading. Use an eraser to hint at the highlights.
Step 9
Start adding final shading from top to bottom. Don't forget to add her face paint. B and HB pencils work well for shading. Erase any highlights or any parts that need to be of a lighter value
Step 10
Shade in the rest of the drawing and work on any final details.
